The cool fall weather is here and it is time to hit the pumpkin patch! Our roundup for Johnson County, KS is below. Our annual Halloween guide full of trick-or-treating, costumed activities and Halloween parties will be out soon too! Don't forget to check out our Fall Festival Guide also!

Edgerton/Gardner

Gardner Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Bring a carved, painted and/or decorated pumpkin and enter the pumpkin contest before Boo Bash. Oct. 25. 6-7 pm. FREE.

Milldale Farm Fall Festival: Enjoy the grounds and pumpkin patch. Crafts, hayrides, petting zoo, and more. Hot cocoa, marshmallow roast, cider and 
pumpkin patch while supplies last. Oct. 29 9 am - 2 pm. FREE.  

Fairway

Fairway's Trail of Tricks & Treats: Annual Halloween event. Games, costume parade and more. Get there early to get a pie 
pumpkin to decorate and take home (while supplies last). Oct. 30. 5 pm. $3. Children under 2 are free.

Lenexa  
 
Enchanted Forest: Entertainment along the walking trail for little ones. Photobooth, hayride, inflatables, trunk-or-treat and 
pumpkin-painting station. Oct. 27. 5:30-8:30 pm. FREE.

Olathe 

KC Pumpkin Patch: Daily Sept. 24 - Oct. 31. 13875 S. Gardner Road. Admission is $9.95 + tax. Pumpkin patch and lots of activities. Certain activities have additional fee.

Overland Park
Pumpkin Hollow at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead: Daily Sept 30 - Oct 31. Mon - Fri 10 am - 3 pm; Sat-Sun 10 am - 4 pm. Horse-drawn wagon rides, corn maze, hay pyramid, hay slide, corn box, and take home a pumpkin 13800 Switzer Road. $8 per person. Additional $2 farmstead admission fee applies. No admission fee on Mon-Thu after 2 pm.

Blue Valley Rec Family Fall Festival: Oct. 15 1- 4 pm. 
Carnival Games, Clowns, Face Painting, Horse-Drawn Hayrides, Huge Kites, Inflatables, Petting Zoo, Refreshments. First 500 kids registered receive a pumpkin. Register in advance. $5 per child. Ages 6 months to 10.

Shawnee

Scarecrow Festival: Oct. 1. 9 am - noon.
Pumpkin decorating, build your own scarecrow, baking contest and tons of scarecrows to look at.  

Sunflower House 2016 Pumpkin Palooza: Oct. 22 9 am - 1 pm. Designer pumpkin sale, bake sale, live music, trunk or treat, games, face painting and more!

Louisburg Cider Mill: Cider Fest Sept. 27-28, Oct.1-2 Live music, arts & crafts, pumpkin patch, corn maze and more. Free admission.
Pumpkin patch/corn maze is $8 per person. Kids 3 and under are free.

Powell Pumpkin Patch: Open daily Sept. 24 - Oct. 31 25695 Spring Valley Road, Louisburg. Pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, nature trail, and playground. Free admission. Corn maze is $2 for kids 6-11; $4 for ages 12 and up.

Lawrence
Schaakes Pumpkin Patch: Daily Sept. 24 - Oct. 31. 1791 North 1500 Road, Lawrence. Free admission and hayrides. Pumpkin patch, hay rides, hay maze, farm animals, concessions. 

...on the Missouri side
Take a ride up north for the annual Weston Apple Fest on Oct. 1-2 and visit the Weston Red Barn Farm.
