Papa Murphy's Fresh Pan Pizza Review

Our friends over at Papa Murphy's Kansas City offered us a free take-and-bake dinner in exchange for my family's opinion of the new Papa Murphy's Fresh Pan Pizza.

I like serving my family as many home-cooked meals during the week as possible. But with a busy fall season of extracurricular sports, music and academic classes on top of running Macaroni Kid JoCo, it is not always possible!

I visited the Overland Park Papa Murphy's at 5:30 p.m. on a Tuesday night. I was surprised to see the store bustling.  My kids were so excited to hear we were having pizza on a weeknight. We typically save that treat for the weekend.

My almost 11 year old and 8 year old like standard cheese pizza.  Being a bit health conscious myself, I ordered a custom veggie pizza (mushrooms, peppers, spinach and zucchini) and garden side salad for the grown ups.

If you are not familiar with Papa Murphy's "Take 'N Bake", it is pizza made in front of you that you take home and bake in your own oven. The pizza baking directions are easy to follow and accurate.  Our pizzas took 15 minutes to bake at 425 degrees. "Papa Murhpy's - It's Love at 425 degrees!"

My Mini Macaronis LOVED the thicker crust deeper dish pan pizza. Their comments? YUMMY. TWO THUMBS UP.  I LOVE THAT IT IS THICK!  My husband and I both enjoyed our fresh baked veggie pan pizza and it was quite filling.

Papa Murphy's has 34 locations in the Kansas City metro. For more information and the latest deals, visit the Kansas City Papa Murphy's Facebook page.

Thanks Papa Murphy's for letting us be your taste testers!
