Kansas City Summer Camp EXPO

The publishers of Macaroni Kid Downtown/ South Kansas City, Macaroni Kid Johnson County, and Macaroni Kid Southeast Kansas City have teamed up and are excited to announce their first annual Kansas City Summer Camp and Programming Expo. The Summer Camp and Programming Expo will feature fun, free activities for the kids to enjoy while parents learn about many camps and programs available to their kids this summer. Macaroni Kid will be bringing a wide variety of camps such as: sports, performing arts, engineering, art, special needs, sleep away, and more under one roof. Parents will be able to meet with camp representatives to get information and ask questions. For a list of participating camps, parents can visit the Facebook event page.

WHEN: Saturday, March 28 from 10 am to 2 pm
WHERE: Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114.
HOW: Admission is FREE. Please bring 1 non-perishable food item per person for the Food pantry
WHY: Meet with over 30 camps. Kids will enjoy FREE face painting, Photo Booth, crafts and more!  Concessions available. The first 150 families through the door will receive a reusable tote bag full of coupons and goodies. There will be live demos and raffle prizes throughout the day.

Sponsors for the event are CareSpot, Heartland Healthy Heads Lice Removal and Resource Center, i9 Sports Johnson County, and Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City.

Macaroni Kid is excited to offer this free event to the public that will allow parents to make informed decisions on the best camps available for their kids this summer while helping the local community.
