Macaroni KID KC is always looking for ways to connect local families with meaningful opportunities to give back. That’s why we’re excited to share that Carousel Pediatric Care, a program of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, is teaming up with Style and Give to bring you an easy way to support children facing serious illness and their families—simply by donating gently-used clothing!
How You Can Help
This February (and beyond!), families can donate children’s gently-used clothing, shoes, and accessories to benefit Carousel Pediatric Care, the only specialized pediatric hospice and palliative care team in the region. Your donations will be processed through Style and Give, a platform that resells quality pre-owned items, with at least 40%—and up to 60%—of the final payout price going directly to support Carousel Pediatric Care’s mission.
What is Carousel Pediatric Care?
When a child is facing a serious illness, everything changes. Carousel Pediatric Care provides expert, compassionate care to help families navigate these challenges, ensuring that children receive the support they need from pre-birth through young adulthood, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Who is Style and Give?
Style and Give makes donating easy by handling every step of the resale process. They select the best platforms to sell donated items, manage listings, and ensure that proceeds go to Carousel Pediatric Care. This means your child’s outgrown clothes can directly support families in need.

What Can You Donate?
We gladly accept all children’s clothing brands and gently-used items, including: 👕 Onesies, shirts, leggings, jeans, dresses, pajamas, coats, hoodies, and more!
👟 Shoes, boots, hats, and accessories
🩱 Swimsuits (with tags), rash guards, and overalls
Please wash items before donating and ensure they are stain-free and odor-free.
