Materials:
- 2 old kid's t-shirts (I used ones that were too small and in bad shape to give to charity)
- strong tape
- scissors
Instructions:
Step 1: First, cut off the bottom hem and the top part, so you just have the part of the shirts that covers your stomach
Step 2: Next, make a slit at the bottom of the shirts about 2 inches high.
Step 3: Then, cut horizontally, side-to-side and make strips that are 2 inches high
Step 4: Repeat step 3 until you make a total of 9 strips (enough to make 1 dog toy)
Step 5: Take three strips and tape down together on a hard surface. Make three separate bundles of three strips.
Step 6: Braid the three strips leaving about 3 inches unbraided at both ends. Repeat for the other two bundles.
Step 7: Remove tape from bundles and re-tape all three braids together. Braid the three braids into 1 large braid.
