Summer Art Fun at the Nerman Museum – We Are Turning 10 years Old!

By Sponsored Advertising Content June 6, 2017

Free admission and free parking, how about a visit to the dazzling Nerman Museum at JCCC? We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year with new artwork displays and exciting programs – including free Friday night Light up the Lawn concerts in August and September.

Explore our campus on a sculpture hunt, visitors of all ages are welcome! Maps and free family activity folders are available at our lobby desk, and you can check out some new displays, including a beautiful Dale Chihuly wall sculpture. Interactive art appreciation tours are offered by appointment for groups of 5 to 50, kindergarten and older. The museum’s focus areas with art on campus are available for tours 7 days a week, so groups can enjoy our collection beyond museum gallery hours.

The Early Explorations classes for ages 5-7 are SOLD OUT, but wait list options are available. Contemporary Creations classes are still enrolling for weekdays in June and July. In each class, students ages 8-11 explore a different topic and create unique projects. This summer we will be making layered paintings and foam block carvings.
