Welcome to 2018 and the brand new Gold Daisy Awards contest! In just one week, Overland Park Macaroni Kid will begin the search for YOUR favorite family-focused businesses in Johnson County. Our Gold Daisy Awards program asks local parents to nominate and vote for their most-loved businesses and organizations -- businesses that enrich, entertain and exhaust (in a good way!) your kids and those businesses that make your life easier as a parent!
We will begin gathering nominations on January 11th in a wide variety of categories, including entertainment, birthday party venues, pediatricians, even dance schools and date-night restaurants. Nominations will be tabulated, and the top businesses in each category will be presented for your final vote, starting February 1st. Winners for all categories will be announced on February 22nd.
Anyone who submits nominations and/or votes will be entered to win one of FOUR $25 gift cards to a Johnson County business of your choice!
The winning business in each category will receive free advertising in our Business Directory, recognition for the year on our homepage and a chance to win a free advertising package.
