What Do I Do?
Just fill out and submit the Macaroni Kid JoCo Gold Daisy Awards nomination form between now and Jan. 30 at 8 am Nominate businesses in as many or as few categories as you would like. Feel free to skip any categories that you do not have a favorite.

What Do I Get?
We will randomly select three winners from the nomination forms and votes; each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the local business of their choice. An additional winner will also get 4 tickets to Disney Jr. Dance Party on Tour (May 9)! Plus, when our winners are announced, you get a list of GREAT local businesses that parents love!
How Do I Let My Favorite Local Business Know That I'm Supporting Them?
Use the Facebook "f" button at the top of this article to share the article on Facebook. Feel free to add a comment to say which businesses you nominated and even tag them. You can also tag and Tweet, Pin or share the article on LinkedIn. We will be posting on Instagram too, so follow us over there to share.
What Happens Next?
Nominations will close on January 30th at 8 am. On February 1, we'll publish the top businesses in each category, and you can cast your VOTE for your favorites. Voting will close on February 20. Winning businesses will be announced February 22!
What's In It For the Businesses?
The winning business in each category will receive a free listing in our Business Directory, a Macaroni Kid JoCo Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business, the wonderful feeling knowing that local families think they're awesome, and an opportunity to win a 3-month sponsor package.

....A Few Rules
- Businesses must be located on the Kansas side in Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood, Lenexa, Stilwell, Bucyrus, Spring Hill, Gardner, Edgerton, De Soto, Prairie Village, Fairway, Merriam, Mission, Westwood, KCK, Bonner Springs, and Edwardsville, KANSAS. Any businesses that are located in other towns will be excluded from final voting.
- Only one nomination form per email address will be accepted. Additional nomination forms submitted from the same email address or non-existent email addresses will be deleted.
- All eligible persons nominating and voting must be 18 years or older and reside in the United States.
- You must be a Macaroni Kid JoCo subscriber to nominate businesses and/or vote. If you're not already a subscriber, we'll add you to the subscription list for our FREE weekly email newsletter listing local events and resources for families. You can opt out at any time.
- We do check the email addresses on nomination forms and votes and have systems to flag potential spam nominations/votes. We reserve the right to delete nominations or votes that are deemed to be invalid or intended to interfere with the fair administration of this contest. Please do not attempt to register fake nominations or votes; let's play fair!
