Hello,
I do not want to make you jealous but we just returned from four glorious days in sunny Florida. We returned at 4:30 pm to a frozen car in the airport parking lot. The kids thought it was hysterical that my windshield and mirrors were totally iced over and my husband had to scrape the windows with a Trader Joe's peppermint mint (think Altoids) tin box. I am usually prepared but upon departing for the airport on Friday my husband found his car in the garage with a flat. In a hurry, I threw everything out of my trunk to get the luggage in. That included ice-scraper, emergency kit, blanket, etc. I thought this is the part of the vacation my kids will remember years from now. It is funny how family memories are made.
Last night I crunched thousands of data entries to compile our Gold Daisy Awards winners. In several cases, an underdog pulled ahead to win!
Here are some things to know:
- Our Gold Daisy Awards Winners are announced!
- There is still time to enter to win tickets to the Art of the Brick at Union Station
