The Carlsen Center invites you to a world premiere of Manual Cinema’s imaginative retelling of “Christmas Carol.”

All ages will enjoy this reinvention of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic as the Chicago-based shadow puppet theater brings together hundreds of puppets, miniatures, silhouettes and a live original score. You’ll instantly connect to the present-day retelling of this story as the puppets take on a life of their own during a family’s Zoom call, transforming it into a stunning cinematic adaptation of Dickens’ classic story.

Or call the Box Oce at 913-469-4445 Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
After your purchase, you'll receive a link to download MarqueeTV, the streaming platform for the show. A link to the performance will be emailed to you at least 24 hours prior to the show.
Each performance will be broadcast live from Manual Cinema’s Chicago studio. Heed the Ghost of Christmas Future, and join us for one of these unique livestreaming events!
