Jim "Mr. Stinky Feet" Cosgrove has been rockin' Kansas City for nearly two decades with his high energy, interactive concerts. Jim’s philosophy is that children are the stars of his shows, not him. Come prepared to sing, dance, and have fun on June 6th.
The event series will continue with fun and educational shows each Tuesday the lineup includes:
Funky Mama is a kids’ favorite performer around the region. Her dynamic energy and bold funk/soul singing style will have the whole family on their feet. Funky Mama has a big voice with easy to understand lyrics. Don’t miss her show on June 13th.
StoneLion Puppets have been a Grinnin’ & Groovin’ favorite for many summers in Leawood. Children will watch with anticipation to see what the puppets are up to in the featured story on June 20th.
The series wraps up on June 27th with a bird show by Wings of Love. This interactive and educational performance will highlight the talents of the birds. The audience will enjoy seeing birds that sing, talk, dance, bowl, skate, bicycle, and play basketball. The birds will also perform magic tricks. “Wings of Love” will feature a variety of birds such as owls, cockatoo, toucans and parrots.
Who
Performances will be held outdoors in the Ironwoods Amphitheater or in the case of rain, extreme heat, or by the needs of the performers (such as the Wings of Love Show) events will move inside the Lodge at Ironwoods Park. The Lodge offers floor and chair seating.

The amphitheater has some concrete risers for seating but lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen are recommended. There are no concessions available at Ironwoods Park but picnics are welcomed. Dogs must be on a leash.
