Enjoy our community’s trails, parks and recreational spaces. Activities for the entire family throughout Shawnee Mission Park and along the adjoining Streamway trail.
Free admission to the beach at Kill Creek Park from noon to 6 pm.
Free half-hour pedal boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals at the marinas in Shawnee Mission Park from 10 am to 7 pm
Free half-hour pedal boat, canoe, and kayak rentals at the marina in Kill Creek Park from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Concessions will be available at Shelter #3 in Shawnee Mission Park 10:30 am to 2 pm.
The event is being held in conjunction with National Trails Day and coincides with JCPRD’s annual free fish¬ing weekend when both Kansas and District fishing and boating permits are waived.
