🎣 Olathe's Annual Kids Fishing Derby

Description

The event this year will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Cedar Lake Park, south of 151st Street on Lone Elm Road from 7:30 a.m. to Noon. Annually, this event draws approximately 650 youth participants and 975 adult spectators and volunteers. Registered participants receive a free T-shirt, goodie bag, and worms (while supplies last). All participants must check in to be eligible for prizes. A hot dog lunch with chips and a beverage is provided for everyone in attendance. Five trophies are awarded to participants in various age ranges and gender categories. Prizes are awarded based on random drawing from the registration numbers. Pre-registration recommended.
