Notes regarding time

Every Tue in June

Description

The Leawood Arts Council, in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department, will provide “Grinnin’ & Groovin’” entertainment for the entire family each Tuesday, June 5 through June 26th.

StoneLion Puppets have been a Grinnin’ & Groovin’ favorite for many summers in Leawood.  Children will watch with anticipation to see what the puppets are up to in the new show Dragonfire on June 19th.

Let the dragon’s fire ignite the music of imagination in this brand new marionette revue by StoneLion Puppet Theatre.  Find mermaids swimming to the crescendo of the sea, the Lochness monster searching for golden notes of treasure while fairies flit about.  Dragonfire is an interactive half hour of beguiling mythical puppet fun.

The series wraps up on June 26th with juggler Brian Wendling.

Each program will begin at 9:30 a.m. sharp and will last a maximum of one hour.  Bring your entire family for fun-filled entertainment that will thrill children of all ages.

Come to Ironwoods Park to enjoy the entertainment and stay to visit the Historic Oxford Schoolhouse or the Prairie Oak Nature Center.
