Description
This annual holiday event, formerly known as Christmas Around Town, is free and has something for the entire family to enjoy. The festivities get started at 2 pm at City Hall (11110 Johnson Drive) with our Sister Cities Christkindlmarkt, live entertainment, kids' crafts, fruitcake races, and Santa to hear your child's Christmas wishes.
Stop in at our downtown Shawnee businesses that will have even more fun activities including food trucks, sing-alongs with carolers, face painting, balloon artists, LIVE REINDEER and more!
Make your way back to City Hall at 5:30 pm when Mayor Michelle Distler will be joined by Santa and Mrs. Claus to present the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund to Shawnee Community Services. We'll cap off the night by lighting the Mayor's Christmas Tree!
