Join the City of Overland Park for an Independence Day celebration!
Live musical performances will include State Line Drive and headliner Noe Palma.
Food trucks will be on hand all evening, leading up to a fireworks performance once the sun goes down.

Schedule
10 a.m. - Pop-up yoga class: Bring your own mat or towel and join us on the lawn for a yoga session with a certified instructor from Matt Ross Community Center.
5 p.m. - Park opens for event
5 - 7 p.m. - First Watch Veterans appreciation dinner open
6 p.m. - State Line Drive performs
8 p.m. - Noe Palma performs
Approximately 9:45 p.m. - Fireworks begin
Rain date - July 5 (fireworks only, no concessions or live music)
Parking
Parking will be available in Corporate Woods. See the below map for parking (click on image for a larger map.)
Water and Food
You may bring beverages and food into the park, coolers will be allowed, however we ask that you do not bring glass containers. We will also have Food trucks and vendors who can sell you cold beverages, beer, a variety of food and cold novelties.
First Watch Veterans Appreciation Dinner
First Watch is providing dinner to veterans and their immediate families from 5-7 p.m. in the veterans' tent in front of Building 40. Proof of service will be required and dinner will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What to bring
This is an outdoor event in a city park, please plan on bringing a lawn chair and/or blanket for seating. No pop-up tents or canopies are allowed.
If you want to bring your dog and they aren't bothered by fireworks, please remember they need to stay leashed even if they are small and/or well behaved.
