This year's Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting will be held live online on Friday, December 4 at 5:30 p.m. on Facebook. Don't worry! We will post the video later online at cityofshawnee.org/mctf in case you miss it. While we are disappointed that we are unable to hold the Shawnee Sister Cities Christkindlmarkt, we are so thankful to be able to show you the Tree Lighting and also present checks to Shawnee Community Services and Mercy and Truth Medical Missions. Mayor Michelle Distler chose those two organizations to benefit this year. If you are interested in donating, there are a number of ways you can do so!
