Description
The parade starts at 6:00 pm with live music to follow from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm The display is set to launch between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm.
6pm - Stilwell Community Parade
Parade Route in Stilwell (192nd Street; South on Metcalf; East on 199th ending at the railroad tracks.) Theme - Celebrating Our Hero's - Who is your hero?
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm - LIVE MUSIC - FOUR BANDS ON THE FOURTH
The community will have LIVE MUSIC in three locations before the fireworks.
Unplugged will perform at First National Bank Stage from 7:00 - 9:00pm
Petty Thieves KC (Tom PettyTribute Band) will perform at the PROAIR Stage from 8:00 - 9:00pm
Silver Bullet KC (Bob Seger Tribute Band) will perform at the PROAIR Stage from 7:00 - 8:00pm
Monsters Ink will perform at the EVERGY Stage from 7:00 - 9:00pm, the Hottest Blues-rock Band in the Midwest, Click here for Sample of Music
**Please feel free to pinic while listening to live music (Four Bands on the Fourth) in three locations.
Your Dinner Experience will provide food for purchase on the 4th of July (7pm - Fireworks)
9:30pm - Fireworks Display
We have a great display again this year for the community. Fireworks will launch at 9:30 pm. Depending on the weather, fire marshall and shooters, they can launch as early as 9:00 pm but will not launch later than 10:00 pm. Fireworks will launch from the Evergy Service Center located at 19950 Newton Street (69 Highway and 199th Street) in Stilwell, Kansas 66085.
We hope you can join us this 4th of July and if you do, please DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN FIREWORKS TO THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY IN STILWELL. Stay safe and do not plan to discharge fireworks anywhere in the area.
9:15 pm - 199th Street ROAD CLOSURE between HWY 69 and Metcalf Avenue.
NOTE: Following the fireworks, 199th Street between Metcalf and Highway 69 will be a two-lane west-bound traffic flow. Those attending will be unable to turn out of Evergy Property and head east, as well as those parked along 199th Street for the display, will be forced to head West to the freeway when departing.
