Description
October is the time to get ready for Halloween candy! For this month's JAM, we will be conducting experiments with different types of candies and observing some of their unique properties. Of course, sugar is a main ingredient of candy. Sugar reacts with different solutions, such as water and different kinds of oils. To try out experiments with different candies, kids will rotate around four different stations. And yes, there are treats!
Class starts at 10:15 AM
*JAM Sessions are intended for children aged 6-10.
*Tickets are FREE for MAP members and $5.00 for general admission. Members, please log in to receive your discount.

*We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for Little Explorers Club and JAM Sessions reservations via emailing info@visitthemap.org. Please include the name on the reservation, number of students, date and time of the class.
*Please help create an outstanding learning environment by limiting disruptions in the classroom!
Parents are, of course, always welcome to remain in class but should a parent choose to step out, we have provided a seating area just outside the classrooms. Parents and siblings are also welcome to explore our Discovery Room or the rest of the Museum until the class concludes.
